CLEVELAND (92.3 The Fan) – The Cleveland Browns dropped a bombshell Wednesday night.
The Browns traded running back Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts for a 2014 first-round draft pick in a shocking move.
Richardson, who was selected with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2012 draft, ran for 950 yards and 11 touchdowns as a rookie while playing with 2 broken ribs and after missing the entire preseason following a second arthroscopic knee surgery in 6 months.
Browns CEO Joe Banner and head coach Rob Chudzinski were left trying to explain to fans left stunned why this was a good move for the Browns now and going forward.
